Toolkit Marketing Services
Together we decide what services you need and set priorities.
Toolkit Marketing deals with micro and small businesses in and around Colchester, so we get to know the local market and sector well and share our knowledge and information with our clients. We provide business support and marketing services to our clients. We outsource various services as we acknowledge that to give our clients value, this is the way forward.
Together we set a reward structure which is acceptable to both. Clients can ask us to work on a single project or retain our services for a period of time. We do not lock our clients in for a fixed term.
We can either help you with getting you the best possible deal and provide guidance on say search engine optimisation or advertising, or we can help you market your business from start to setting a marketing strategy and monitoring response. You know your business best, therefore, we work together with you and your team. Marketing is not a stand alone role, it will affect stock, service delivery, cashflow, your staff etc. Mistakes can be costly.
Typically we assess if we are a good match and how we can help you best. We do not hesitate to refer you, if a different service not provided by us is more pressing or if we simply are not right for you. We realize that micro and small businesses operate differently from large companies and have different requirements.
Toolkit Marketing is not a large agency. We like to work on a lean basis, and therefore we can be more flexible. The internet has changed the face of marketing and for marketeers. We make no bones about it, we outsource to our partners if appropriate and where possible secure preferential rates for you. In addition to our expertise, we access knowledge and information which we do locally and in our industry. We pay for industry updates and are members of various marketing groups and networks locally and internationally. Our logo and name:
We are frequently asked why Toolkit? Toolkit, because we apply the tools from the kit that you need. What use is a saw if you want to put in a nail? The orange in our logo stands for growth and the 'blue' for community and our values. The orange circles which have linked into a T are supposed to reflect the fact that the public sector, social - and business sector are all linked and is surrounded by the community (blue circles) which interlinks. "The missing link in your business", put that down to the founder being foreign.
We originally set out to further closer links between local government, local business and the community and this is still the case and reflected in our corporate responsiblity policy today. Toolkit Marketing actively supports culture, education and charities for the benefit of Colchester and the micro and small businesses it serves.
